The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced its approval of the use of white space spectrum for unlicensed broadband as well as the merger of Sprint's XOHM unit and Clearwire. Towerstream (Nasdaq: TWER) applauded the FCC's decisions which will benefit both business in the wireless space and consumers nationwide.
